Born in Santiago, Claudia
Acuna sang well from an early age and was particularly attracted by
the popular music of her country and the songs of the day. She did not
even know of the existence of jazz until someone pointed out that she
seemed to be a natural jazz singer. Claudia then listened to as much
jazz as she could, and what she heard lead to the birth of a great
love.
