Marcus Miller
Group

Marcus Miller, one of the thinkers of
black music, is famous for his work as “director-producer” on both his
own recordings and those of others (Wayne Shorter, Joe Sample, Omar
Hakim, Hiram Bullock, Al Jarreau), but his importance as an electric
bassist should not be overlooked, and he is one of the three players
(together with Stanley Clarke and Jaco Pastorious) who have
contributed to the modern evolution of the electric bass.
