Pat Martino
Quartet
featuring Gil Goldstein, Steve Beskrone, Lenny White
Guitarist Pat Martino has both worked as
a teacher and published books on instrumental technique. His playing
is difficult to imitate, however, because of certain characteristics,
such as the special tuning he uses and which gives his Gibson a darker
sound than is normal, and certain highly virtuosic passages which are
possible thanks to of his mastery of the twelve-string guitar.
