Orchestra
Twenty-five years is a long life for any
musical group: for a jazz orchestra it is an eternity, given the
difficulties (economic and organisational) that are encountered in
trying to keep it together. The Vienna Art Orchestra has completed a
quarter of a century and is one of the best established groups of
today, thanks partly to its recordings, which are always stimulating,
and to its busy programme of concerts.
